About Us

American Access was founded by Brian Clark after many years as operations manager for one of the largest wheelchair ramp manufacturers in the United States. In starting his own business, Clark wanted to structure it around what he found to be most rewarding about the wheelchair ramp business – meeting the customers and serving their needs. When founded, American Access was created to be a family-owned business, offering personal service on a national scale.

The backbone of the company is a group of three brothers – Brian Clark, president; David Clark, vice president; and Paul Clark, chief operations officer. Each brother brings to the table different skills acquired through many years of service in various industries. Growing up, the brothers remained close and shared similar goals of what a leading company – in any industry – should be about and what that company should offer to its customer base. Now, they have fused their individual energies and talents to put these goals into action under one roof at American Access.   

Since the company’s establishment in 1997, it has served America’s veterans, public schools, colleges, churches, private organizations and the general public with thousands of ramp installations across the country.

American Access’ staff is committed to continuing to meet customer needs quickly and conveniently. Our customers’ top concern should be their health. Arranging the delivery and installation of the equipment needed to assist them – that’s our job.   

Our home office is located in Memphis, Tennessee, but to provide our customers with the most convenient delivery possible, American Access distributes its products from five warehouses around the country. And, we have access to more than $1 million in ramps and living aids in stock, so we can ship almost immediately. That’s an added convenience for our clients.
